He is Raising Up a New Generation!

Who is Gen Z and what do we need to know about them?

This is the final week of guest posts in a Series called "Not-So-Popular Truth of GENERATION Z".  PART ONE  is where I explained who Gen Z is and where this post came from. You will definitely want to start with that one and get all the stats & details as well as and hear what Tanner, our first guest post shared. Once you read that, you will be hooked and want to read PART TWO where Katelynn, who has her own blog about learning to navigate young adult life with Jesus, shares.
Leigh Law is another young blogger for Jesus who shared with us last week in PART THREE.  These girls and their insight amaze me. I promise you will be inspired!

This week, I am trying to keep my words to a minimum and focus on the last three guests and their words. They are just as amazing as the others.

So, let's just get to it!

Guest Emalee Sholar

Who Do I Say that Jesus is?  by  Emalee Sholar
Mrs. Sheila asked me almost a month ago to write about who I think/say that Jesus is. But while in the midst of starting new classes at school, working at the hospital 7-7, and bringing my Gan home from the hospital & making sure that she is being taken care of day in and day out, I told her that I didn't know when I would be able to write it but that I was going to try my best to get it to her. So here I am a month later..
During all of these different hurdles lately, I have began to realize even more at how He is FOREVER FAITHFUL and HIS LOVE NEVER GIVES UP on me. I fail Him every day but yet He still forgives me and loves me just the way I am.
I just recently had to take this test at school called a HESI (I cringe typing that word) three different times and it took me three times to finally pass it! I wanted to give up so bad, I started feeling mad at God and wondering why would this happen to me if He knew that this is what I want! (I remember sitting in my room crying with my mom and getting mad at Him.)
I began to second guess myself about my career, "Is this really what I am suppose to be doing?" or "Should I even try again?"
B U T ---- HIS TIMING is always BEST.  Oh, if He doesn't show me this everyday..! We as selfish humans, want everything our way and at our time. That whole situation made me realize that I HAVE to TRUST IN HIM. And that I was not alone. He is always right there, leading me. The only thing required of me was to maintain sweet communion with Him, and to obey and trust in Him. His power handles the rest. I had to remember that it's not by my power or my might that things will happen for me. IT IS BY HIS SPIRIT.
So Jesus asked, "Who do you say that I am?"
Jesus, You are my Savior, my Shepherd, my Healer, my Forever Friend, my Caretaker, my Comforter, my Strong Tower & THE GREAT I AM.
I hope this post helped someone that is struggling with having to put ALL your trust in Him. & I am praying for that someone that reads this.
Always remember, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Who Do I Say that Jesus Is?  by  Emoree Dykes
Who do YOU say I am? When this question comes to mind, there are so many answers that could be correct. To me, he is my provider, protector, and creator. He provides more for me than what I could ever imagine and fulfills all my needs on a daily basis. He watches over me and is with me at all times even when it seems like he is far away. He will never leave nor forsake us as long as we put our full trust in him. He protects me and my family and doesn't let harm get in the way. He lives in us and loves us more than we can even imagine. He created me to be in his image and even when I sin he forgives me and gives me another chance even when I don't deserve it. He holds my future in his hands and knowing that I have nothing to worry about because I know he will be by my side every step of the way even when the road gets rough. He died on the cross for my sins and one day I will get to walk with him in heaven and live in eternity with him.

Guest Casey Dean

Who is Jesus to Me, Personally- Casey Dean  June 2017
Jesus is my savior. I know that He is the one that died on the cross for me and I know that He gave everything He had just to take away my sins and just for me to live a good life. I also know that since Jesus did all of that for me then I need to do my absolute best for Him, Jesus deserves 110% from me every day, in every little thing that I do. Jesus is someone that I can sit and talk to, even if it's just in my head. He makes me feel safe about things, because I know that He is in control. Jesus is my King. He rules over the things that I can not take care of, the things that i'm not strong enough to fix. That's  what I love about my God, no matter how big the situation, He WILL fix it!! Jesus is my friend, when I feel like I have no one, he reminds me that he is always right there by my side, holding my hand through every step of the way. Jesus is my rock!! i day by day I struggle with things I know I could not get through if it wasn't for Him holding my hand and guiding me through. Jesus Is My Everything!
