Writer's Workshop - 5.18.24
I cannot begin to tell you how much fun we had Saturday afternoon! I learned so much about the actual process and of course loved learning the stats/dollars associated too. But the absolute BEST part....the true reason I do everything I do is...the RELATIONSHIPS made and grown.
When I left Saturday, (even with an almost flat tire!) I had a smile that wouldn't go away.:) I just thank God for allowing me to be the one to get these 'workshops' together with Him! He knew I would be the one being most encouraged, built up, strengthened and filled up with each one! He's is such a good and kind Father.
The afternoon was more than I had even prayed for! I always pray that whoever attends will be able to say when they leave "I went in not knowing what to expect, but I felt safe, comfortable and like I was among life-long friends!" THAT is what Saturday felt like and it fills my heart up seeing you all connecting and learning so much about each other with such beauty.
I know God made big God-friends and God-connections Saturday :) I'm praying we see these connections grow from Seeds to Trees...rooted deeply in the coming days.

March Workshop
A-MAZ-ING! This workshop was very different, as they all have been. OUTSIDE in God's beautiful, colorful, creative Creation! If you will remember back, JAN & FEB workshops were in the RAIN....this one looked to follow that pattern, but I was crazily at perfect peace that God was going to do a work for us ladies even if it stormed and we had to cram under the porch! AND GUESS WHAT...the rain stopped between by 2:30 and it turned out to be the perfect weather to be outside! Won't He Do It!!
I wish I had words to describe the sweet spirit present when we gather. I honestly don't know what other word to use for it?? It feels as though all of us have known each other for a long while?!
SAFE. SEEN. KNOWN. and LOVED. Those are some words that just came as I typed. :)
I know the rain and just life things kept many from coming out, but I have learned to trust that God is in full control of who comes.
"IF BUT FOR ONE"(Blog & Audio here) is a phrase the Lord gave me in prayer many years ago. Every single time I work to gather women together, the human fear of 'will anyone come?' comes at me. BUT just as soon as it does, Holy Spirit reminds me of this revelation I heard in prayer so many years ago "If but for one!" If only 1 person shows us and leaves one step closer to Jesus- it is counted as SUCCESS! That is how personally invested our God is in His perfect love for us because He desires a relationship with you! His LOVE will never cease to amaze me.
I was in tears as I drove home Saturday just talking to Jesus about what I had just been allowed to help with! I had witnessed EXACTLY the desires He had put in my heart so long ago---- gathering women who long to live for Jesus in every area of this life as we wait for Heaven. To see the dividing walls of denomination, church affiliations, race, backgrounds - FALL LIKE JERICHO as we come together! Y'all, I witnessed this Saturday!! We had a mix of every single one of those things! And my heart was FILLED UP!
God is doing some exciting things all around us! I am seeing how He uses just pure willingness and not much else to make beautiful things begin to sprout! My desire is to see EVERYONE of us begin to sprout our gifts and willingness and watch what He does with it. It was a GREAT DAY! One I am ready to repeat!

Feb Workshop
I cannot begin to tell you how great our first Creativity Workshop was! I wish I could bottle the sweet, friendly, and super fun time we had and send you all some! Saturday morning was a rainy day and the bed begged us all to stay in! But, every single one braved the weather and even bigger, they braved through fear & anxiety! We had an experiment! We had ALL ages & stages of gals! From early teen to lets just say the 50+Fabulous age! My heart smiles so big when I see this Titus 2 type gathering!! Older 'discipling' the younger women! Doing WHOLE LIFE together. Learning the Word, having fun & seeing we all have something to learn and teach the others. I love young women! Thanks to them, we had a great Christian music playlist as we painted and great pix taken and put into a slideshow for me! YES, I LOVE the young people!!
The first thing I asked them to do was list a few emotions they had felt during the morning. Anxious, scared, tired, blah...were some of them. Then at the end of the workshop, I asked them to use that same paper, turn it over & list the emotions they felt now after the lesson time and creating a beautiful door hanger. Y'all!! All you have to do is look at the pictures! The big smiles, laughs, conversations, making new friends and catching up with others made the rainy day BRIGHT & SUNSHIN-Y!! So much so that the majority went down the road to eat lunch together at a new restaurant! I LOVE IT! Just when I think God can't top things, He does! Just trust me when I say that God is up to something here with these Workshops and I am here for it all! Come check it out and see if you don't say the same afterwords! Workshop #1 -Life Impact Vision Board
In December we started with a Vision Board Workshop. We focused on how we wanted our life to be one of IMPACT for Jesus. Scripture tells us throughout the Bible that we are to be 'Disciples making Disciples' and we learned how to take time to reflect and get with God about what is helping or hindering in the Impact HE created us for!
Workshop #3- Vision Board @ The Bridge
The Bridge Church in Ochlocknee, GA invited me to do the Life Impact Workshop for their Jan Ladies Meeting. It was SO much fun meeting some new friends and hanging out with some I don't get to see often enough. It is always encouraging and edifying to be among other women who want to know God more! These ladies were very creative and their boards looked amazing! Thank you Tab for the invite!
